Yes, print encyclopedias are in the reference section of the library. A librarian can show you where exactly. We also have encyclopedias, dictionaries, and subject epecific reference books available electronically through research databases such as Credo Reference.
A direct link to Credo Reference is below, as well as detailed instructions to access Credo and other reference research databases via the library's website. If you are off campus, your username is your WSSU email prefix (everything except @wssu.edu) and your password is your Banner ID number.
Credo Reference: http://188.8.131.52:2048/login?url=http://www.xreferplus.com
Access through the library website:
1. Go to http://www.wssu.edu/library
2. Click on Databases (Find Articles)
3. Under Databases by Subject click on Reference.
4. Scroll down to choose from Credo Reference and other fine reference research databases such as Oxford Reference, Blackwell Reference and others.
