Print encyclopedias are located in the reference section of the library. A library staff member can show you where exactly. We also have encyclopedias, dictionaries, and subject specific reference books available electronically through research databases such as Credo Academic Core.
A link to Credo Reference is below, as well as detailed instructions to access Credo and other reference research databases via the library's website. If you are off campus, your WSSU email prefix (everything except @wssu.edu) is your user name and your password is your Banner ID number.
1. Go to https://www.wssu.edu/academics/cg-okelly-library/index.html
2. Click on Databases
3. Under Databases by Subject click on Reference.
4. Scroll down to choose from Credo Academic Core and other fine reference research databases such as Oxford Reference, Blackwell Reference and others.
