If you have an eBook checked out from eBooks on EbscoHost, using Bluefire or Adobe Digital Editions, see these instructions if you need to return the eBook before the checkout period expires:

Adobe Digital Editions

Bluefire app - Note from EBSCO: "The Bluefire Reader app was pulled from Google Play and the App Store because of a major issue with the most current version. Unfortunately, users will be unable to revert back to the previous version. This will not affect most users – if users are running the previous version of Bluefire Reader and have not updated, they will see no change in functionality. If they have upgraded in the last few weeks, some users (around 5%) could see usability problems. If users running this latest, problematic upgrade report issues, their best recourse is to open their .acsm file (DRM-protected EBSCO eBook) in another Adobe-DRM-compatible app. Options include Adobe Digital Editions, Bookari, or Aldiko. They will need to authorize the other app with the same Adobe ID if they have not already.

Users that have not downloaded EBSCO eBooks before will see a different message during the download process. Instead of “I have Bluefire Reader or equivalent installed,” the message will read, “I have Adobe Digital Editions or equivalent installed”.

Downloads of DRM-free ebooks are not affected (they can be opened in any application compatible with PDF or EPUB)."
